Vixie Bee is a local artist and YouTuber daylighting as a student at NSCAD University. She has a focus on illustration and comics, and is the artist on HeroWins, a new weekly webcomic about lady superheroes in a fictional Canadian metropolis(launching August 18th)! Sockie is a local artist born and raised just outside of Halifax, where her love of the maritimes inspired her to stay in the province during her ongoing stint at NSCAD. Although her foray into comics is still in its earliest stages, you can find her debut webcomic The Sea Cried Out on tumblr, and a multitude of ocean and mermaid-themed art here at DCAF.
