Niko Silvester exhibiting at DCAF 2015

Niko is a writer/illustrator/artist originally from Vancouver Island but now lurking in the woods near Upper Stewiacke writing and illustrating the webcomics Fey and The Fabulous Forays of Aeryn Daring, and spending a lot of time drawing fairies and dragons. This year at DCAF, Niko will have Fey and Aeryn comics and minicomics, prints and a few pieces of original art, and some 3D dragon sculpture kits.

Vixie Bee is a local artist and YouTuber daylighting as a student at NSCAD University. She has a focus on illustration and comics, and is the artist on HeroWins, a new weekly webcomic about lady superheroes in a fictional Canadian metropolis(launching August 18th)! Come on over and visit her at her table, where she’ll have minicomics, buttons, stickers, prints, and more!

Sockie is a local artist born and raised just outside of Halifax, where her love of the maritimes inspired her to stay in the province during her ongoing stint at NSCAD. Although her foray into comics is still in its earliest stages, you can find her debut webcomic The Sea Cried Out on tumblr, and a multitude of ocean and mermaid-themed art here at DCAF. At her table, you’ll find everything from prints and stickers, to buttons and private commissions.
